Jewelry and Timepieces
eWatches.comAlthough the selection of timepieces isn’t as vast as the other shops we’ve reviewed, eWatches.com seems to do everything else right: site navigation is straightforward & consistent, searches return the expected results and accurate shipping times & costs are provided at all times.
Even though customer service options were limited to email and telephone contact, our calls were answered by a live person almost immediately; there was no hold time, nor any voice mail issues to contend with.
Overall, the easy-to-use web site and excellent customer service make up for a smaller product selection, and earn eWatches.com an...

JomaShop.comAn excellent selection of timepieces is supported by a functional free text search and excellent product descriptions and shipping timeframe estimates. In addition, JomaShop.com offers the unique ability to track orders online, without having to contact customer support, which is only available during regular business hours.
When we attempted to contact JomaShop’s customer support team, we were greeted with a recording informing us that the toll-free number was not available in our area. Atlantictime.com is a destination for luxury watches, and although the online inventory suggests “high end”, the site’s functionality does not. The search system didn’t work for us once, product listings are inflexible and availability information was not always displayed.
The only support options provided are business-hours telephone and email contact, which at a luxury retailer seems somewhat lacking. Having said that, a...

Wristwatch.comA vast selection of everything from basic, entry-level watches up to mid / high end timepieces sets Wristwatch.com apart. Although some links lead to empty pages and others lead to the incorrect products (the Tissot listings, for example, can be quite problematic), the site is simple to navigate.
Searching for watches with particular features is a different story, though: the only search function available is a single free-text field which does not always return accurate search results. In fact, a search for a rubber bracelet returned a list of watches with canvas and leather straps, but not...
